Use caution when working with and using lithium-ion batteries as they are very sensitive to charging characteristics and may explode, burn, or cause a fire if misused or mishandled. Always charge on a fire-proof surface. Never leave batteries charging unattended. This battery is sold for use in system integrations with proper protection circuitry or battery packs with a battery management system or PCB (circuit board/module). The buyer is responsible for any damage or injury caused by misuse or mishandling of lithium-ion batteries and chargers. Charge only with a smart charger designed for this specific type of lithium-ion battery.

Recommendations

We highly recommend using an external battery charger for 18650 battery mods, as it helps with balanced charging and prolongs the life of the battery and mod, such as from a worn-out microUSB port. Never use damaged or improperly wrapped batteries with this device. We recommend all 18650/20700/21700 battery mods use matching batteries with a similar brand, model, and battery state at all times.

Temperature Control Feature

In order to use the temperature control feature, it requires the use of nickel, titanium, or stainless steel coils.
